Tensions come to a boiling point between tattoo artists Corey Miller and irritating manager Aubry "Rock Of Love" Fisher in The Final Showdown. Kat Von D must make a critical decision. Not since "Who shot JR Ewing?" has such intrigue, tension and mystery been created for the final episode. Oh, how I pine for season 5.

Aubry is making her usual misguided attempts to curry favor with the crew. Why doesn't she just be quiet and do her work? Kat Von D let's the whole wide world know about how her life was changed by a visit to her physician in LA P:ink.

Pixie Acia--who was the shop manager in the first two seasons--can't afford necessary surgery in Pixie's Surgery. Rock and roll celebrity Scott Ian from Antrax gets tattooed by Kat.

New to the shop this season is tattoo artist and singer in the band "The Dear and Departed" Dan Smith. He reminds Kat that he is going to be away recording songs in this episode called Outside Interests. Kat feels she is short staffed and does this kinda deer in the headlights stare when he informs her. He returns her stare with a equally deerish look. (I wonder if these dumb looks actually occured around this time of the reminding, or if they just editted them in from weeks earlier--um, reality??) Paulie, with his heavy Brooklyn accent, is whining about not getting enough work. Deal is that he's on the bottom of the list for walk in clients--ever other artist in the shop needs to be working before Aubry is allowed to call him.

Didn't much care for this episode--pretty lame about Aubry is moping about wanting to get another tattoo; it's really just another of her head games. She wants to draw attention to herself, as if the show should be called "LA Shop Manager." Instead of earning respect, she just further irritates the crew in Episode 8: Tramp Stamp of Approval.
